Jyotiraditya to file nomination on Jan 18 at Guna

Jyotiraditya Scindia, son of late Madhavrao Scindia, will contest the February 21 Lok Sabha by-election from the Guna parliamentary constituency in Madhya Pradesh.

The vacancy was caused by the death of his father.

District congress president Yogendra Kumar on Thursday said Jyotiraditya would file his nomination papers as a Congress nominee on January 18.

He would reach Shivpuri on January 17 and after an overnight halt, arrive in Guna the next day to file the nomination papers at the district election office, Kumar said.
