Cops begin quizzing R K Sharma's kin

Onkar Singh in New Delhi

The Delhi police on Thursday started questioning Pragati Sharma, the elder daughter of IPS officer R K Sharma, the prime suspect in the murder of journalist Shivani Bhatnagar.

A three-member team quizzed Pragati at her friend's residence in Chhatarpur about allegations levelled by her family against Union minister Pramod Mahajan and the whereabouts of her father.

A police team also left for Panchkula in Haryana to question Madhu and Komal, the officer's wife and younger daughter.

When contacted on her mobile phone, Pragati told rediff.com that she was in the middle of questioning.
