Top BJP, RSS leaders meet PM

A meeting of the top Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leaders was held at the prime minister's residence on Saturday morning to review the prevailing political and economic situation in the country.

The meeting was attended by RSS leaders K S Sudarshan, Madan Das Devi and Seshadri Chari.

Meanwhile, the BJP parliamentary board will meet in the evening to review its earlier decision of sitting in the opposition in the Uttar Pradesh assembly following its electoral setback.

Party president Jana Krishnamurthy said the meeting was convened to review the previous decision in view of the party's move to form a coalition government with the Bahujan Samaj Party in the state.
