Senior Congress leader Madhavrao Scindia, who died in an air crash at Kanpur on Sunday, would be cremated in Gwalior on Wednesday, party sources said.
The body is expected to be brought to Delhi early on Monday and will be kept at his official residence to enable the people to pay their last respects.
It will be taken to the All India Congress Committee headquarters later in the day before being taken to Gwalior for the funeral.
