The Nationalist Congress Party in Maharashtra on Thursday announced its election board for the forthcoming local self-government body elections.
The board would be headed by state unit chief Babanrao Pachpute with Chhagan Bhujbal, Madhukarrao Pichad, Vijaysinh Mohite-Patil, Dr Padamsinh Patil, Ajit Pawar, Dilip Valse-Patil, Datta Meghe, Vasant Chavan, Vasant Davkhare and Gurunath Kulkarni among its members, party spokesman Vasant Chavan said.
R R Patil, Jayant Patil, Anil Deshmukh, Javed Khan, Sunil Tatkare, Jaidatt Kshirsagar, Babasaheb Kupekar, Vinayak Mete and Jitendra Avhad are among the invitees on the board.
Ranjitsinh Mohite-Patil, Manda Mhatre, Sohail Lokhandwala, Ram Pandagale, Pankaj Thakre and Changezkhan Pathan are special invitees on the board, Chavan added.
