Police grope in the dark about
Rs 20 million robbery

Delhi police on Tuesday remained clueless about the whereabouts of two employees of a private security agency who decamped with Rs two crore (Rs 20 million) belonging to ICICI Bank after hijacking the vehicle carrying the cash even as it sent out several teams to Haryana in search of the culprits.

While Southern Range police formed as many as 13 teams, the New Delhi range police and the Crime Branch have also sent out several teams to nab the driver Dharmvir Singh and gunman Jaswant Singh, who took away the cash after immobilising five of their colleagues in south-west Delhi on Monday.

Police teams were sent out to Sonepat and Gurgaon districts in Haryana but no breakthrough has been reported so far, police sources said.

Sleuths also questioned other employees of the two private security agencies to which the accused belonged, they added.
