DGMOs' meet unlikely before summit: Pak

The proposed visit of the Indian Director General of Military Operations is unlikely to take place before the Indo-Pak summit, said the official Associated Press of Pakistan news agency on Monday evening.

It added that an appropriate decision on the Indian proposal will be taken after receiving official communication from New Delhi.

Moreover, the Pakistan defence spokesman, Major General Rashid Querishi has dismissed press reports speculating about DGMO's visit saying they were incorrect and speculative.

"If there is such a proposal it will be processed and assessed by the government and an appropriate decision will be taken. It will be premature to say more on the issue of present," he was quoted as saying by APP.

He also said that Pakistan had not received any proposal for the DGMOs to contact each other once a week.
