3 hurt in J&K grenade blast: PTI

Three civilians were injured as militants tried to blow up a security picket in downtown Srinagar on Monday afternoon, officials said in Srinagar.

The grenade, hurled at the main chowk in Nowhatta, fell short of the target around 1345 hours, injuring three civilians, they said, adding that all three were admitted to a hospital.

No militant outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.
