Manipur ministry expanded, 33 ministers sworn in

The eight-day-old People's Front Ministry, headed by Radhabinod Koijam, in Manipur was expanded on Friday with the swearing in of 33 ministers - 24 cabinet and nine ministers of state.

Governor Ved Prakash Marwah administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new ministers at a simple function at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal.

The function was attended among others by Samata Party president Jaya Jaitley, former Bharatiya Janata Party president Kushabhau Thakre, Union Ministers of State for Food Processing Th Chaoba Singh and others.
