Views:Its pathetic, now we have to compromise with menows like Bangladesh. They will dictate terms by saying we intrude their territory and so they are free to cut our soldiers limb and pour boiling water. PM will issue a msg and 'strong protest' and then go to a long sleep, after all what we lost just few more pple, shame on the system and the apathy we show to these situations. No doubt that we were slaves for yrs and you know we will perish as we don't learn. Tersely we are stupid.

Views:There are over 10 million Bangladeshis staying illegally in India. The infiltration continues unabated mostly through the porous border far in the north east. However, the government in the name of democracy or human rights did nothing to stop these illegal immigrants who also indulge in serious crimes and thefts all over the country. The only party which openly talked about their deportation is the Shiv Sena. Presently, BDR may have some interest (money?) in arranging clandestine infiltration of these intruders under the cover of firepower. It is the high time that India fence the border once for all before it is too late. After all, relations continue to be cordial only when both the countries stick to diplomacy and not the guns.

The one thing this government has proved without doubt is that it does not understand the value of an Indian life nor of Indian land. Bangladeshis have been illegaly entering our country through the North East for decades now. India for Indians please. Our politicians can't continue to ignore the North East forever. Views:While I am a Pacifist, as the son of an Army Officer, I am appalled that we Indians take the killing of 16 BSF soldiers so lightly. Why? Just because we don't want to upset Bangladesh? When will we learn that each soldier looking after our borders is extremely valuable and his death cannot go unpunished. The Bangla Borders Chief's voice recording played out on Star news that they had not fired a single bullet reminds me of the Japanese ambassador in US talking with Americans, while the Jap. forces were bombing Pearl Harbour. How naive can we be as a nation that every body takes us for a ride? I am not suggesting we go on a rampage like the Israelis but certainly we should not just smile and say ,'ok fine so you are sorry'. If this is the respect we have for our soldiers, why would any self respecting man want to die for the country? For heavens sake, we should make the Banglas' pay for the murder of our soldiers. Views:The whole episode is a part of the Pakistani game plan of surrounding India with hostile neighbours. Earlier we had a similar experience with the anti-Hritik/anti-India issue in Nepal. And now with Bangladesh. I won't be suprised if we have a similar flare-up with Srilanka in the near future. The only way this can be countered is TOTAL DISINTEGRATION of Pakistan with whatever overt and covert means available. As they have been doing by "officially" sponsoring jehad and "unofficially" sponsoring bomb-blasts in Mumbai etc. we should do the same. It's time to take the kidgloves off. Every Indian should vow and contribute his bit for the total disintegration of Pakistan. The earlier the Pakistani people realise that jehad can work both ways, the better it will be for them.

Let every Indian start behaving like a typical Isreali and such problems will not dare crop up. Indians are constantly fed contradictory opinion by the press, politicians and the so called 'secular' media. The media, politicians and the press have reduced the typical Indian to a highly refined 'hijra' who is genuinely convinced that his weak nature is noble character

If these are not all forthcoming within 24 hours, India must suspend all flights to and from Bangladesh, suspend all trade and put an embargo on all movement of people. If this still produces no results within 24 hours, IAF should be sent in to flatten the Bangladeshi base from where the goons launched the attack. If world opinion goes against India.F*&#k them.

It is high time that India proves itself that it is a Peaceful country and will do anything to upkeep its peace. The Government must be ashamed of itself for accepting the mutilated the bodies of the brave soilders who gave their life. It is high time India proves to the world that it will not take these sought of things laid back. I do not understand how the government is quite on this and conducting investigations, it will not be long before it is caught again in its web of investigations and be attacked again. Our neighbours have realised that we are people involved with internal squabbles , scams of all soughts from fodder to fighter planes, stock markets to vegatable markets, and we have no time to think of borders and aggression. The government is trying to defend itself so that they can come back to power next time round. Will the government forget politics for sometime and think about putting back the attackers. With the military might, it is a couple of hours, that is needed to send Bangladesh into a long sleep.Wake up Government else, break up. Someone else might be worthy of the positions occupied by you. How can you be so hardhearted after what they have done to our brothers, can you compensate the families cent percent. Friends , pls wake up, pls tell this government that we shall not take this anymore. We should prove, that we need peace and we shall get maintain it and shall not hesitate to reply any aggression with enough power. Please Please , Now or Never

Views: Unlike Pakistan,Bangladesh is like a proverbial ASTEEN KA SAANP.Large numbers of Bangladeshis are already in India and many more pour in daily, even reach the towns in Punjab, where for some decades Punjabis had not seen a muslim after 1947.India needs to check their entry and to deport them back and without any communal bias. Similar situation with Turks has reached in Denmark and Sweden may face it in future with people from middle east

Views:There seems to be a patern about whats happening. Agreed the ISI is suspect. They definitely are the brain power behind what happened, they also have built up sympathiser/recruited fanatic pockets which can be triggered off on call in Nepal, Bangladesh, parts of India ,Ceylon and god forbid it may spread throughout the world, financed by Usman Bin Laden and other Saudi fanatics and their willing ISI stooges to destablise all vulnerable non muslim targets and weak governments. The answer-GET TOUGH.

Views:From the recent incident of Bangladeshi intrusion, it is very clear that our politicians are not only corrupt, but they are coward too. I am sure Mr vajpayee would have lost much of his popularity among Indians due to the manner in which is so called patriotic government has handeled the situation. I salute the BSF personnel who laid down their life for safe gaurding our countries frontiers. SHAME on all you politicians.

Views:Cool it! This is a time when we must keep our head. While we must definitely put our foot down on such incursions, we must also keep in mind that the whole thing does NOT have the Bangla govt's backing. Chest thumping or worse, retaliation in kind will only destroy the India-friendly government of Sheikh Hasina. The fact that these things have happenned only says that her position is weak. We do not want to make it any worse. Let us handle this with some maturity. Remember the scene of Gen. Aideed's men dragging dead American soldiers through the streets of Addis Ababa in Somalia? Well, US could not do anything but recoil in horror - such things happen whenever there are ppl spoiling for a fight (like the BNP guys in B'desh). It is we who must act with resposibility behooving of a world leader. I know it is difficult to accept - but we must take it. So, what SHOULD we do? Make sure that those b*****ds responsible for this (be it the BNP or some maverick in the Bangla army) is punished - work WITH the Bangladesh Govt for that!!

Views:This is unfortunate that we are being attacked by freindly countries like Bangladesh. This is indeed a shame for us, shame for our national pride. But, let us analyse this situation historically. History says us that India has been attacked by foreigners many many times over the years. And all these occasions we were overpowered due to the lack of a national feeling. Historically, we were never united as a nation, as a country. Not that we did not have the militery might, but we spent our time, energy, power in fight among ourselves. Infighting among ourselves always made it easy for the foreigners to overpower us and then rule us. Fortunately, we have now a national government, a national feeling that is tuned to a very high level, but I think we are still engaged in another kind of infighting, that is "corruption". We really do not care for life and property and well being of our fellow countrymen. The vivid example of corruption is right before us. Our political parties are more concerned about fighting elections than fighting the menace of illeteracy, malnutrition, unemployment. Each of us in the mental level is actually carrying out a battle against this evil force like "greed". If we do not win this battle, we will not win any battle. We can not go on indulging corruption in our daily lives, go on cheating our neighbours in one hand and talk about national pride, territorial integriety in another hand. In order to have territorial integrity we have to have intigrity in our character. Otherwise, sooner or later another foreign force will reign our land.
