Views:India will never learn lessons from history. We faced the kadgil situation. Fucking 16 solders died instead of retaliating properly India tried to defuse the situation. India should learn at least by seeing countries like Israel how to protect the territory and how to react to the situation.

India should give a 48 hour ultimatum to bangladesh, to book the guilty or go to International war tribunal or croosover to book the guilty ourselves[israel style]. Nothing short of this is warranted in the interest of our nation's future security

When these Bangladesh's mad animals were approaching our boundaries, why they have not been shot by BSF? Even if mad animal attacked BSF while they were sleeping, why the remaining BSF have not killed 160 Banglsdeshi bloody animals. Now they must kill 160 these animals and hang them in theirs own country. Only and only they will get a lesson. And this government and its authorities are just impotent, simply impotent. They idiots sitting in big offices can not do anything but holding meetings making rules and regulations. Shame on this PM and idiot Jaswant and his whole defence ministry. They are playing with the whole country.

What is the use of so much of power, when you have to bow before Bangladesh and that also when they murdered 16 of our jawans in cold blood! Look what did USA do save its men from China in the recent spy plane matter. And, who said - India is a potential candidate for Security Council permanent membership? For such a country which cannot save one's own jawans - what role will it play in the Security Council. Perhaps we have forgotton that in world politics todays and in the past also - it is the muscle power which is feared and not begging for the dead bodies of your jawans from a small country which was liberlised by us. Shame! Shame!! For such a coward government!

Are our politicians so spineless that they describe Bangladesh's actions under some glib diplomatic jargon.. without giving a minute to think about the lives lost and the inhuman torture undergone by our soldiers.. why do we have to be "Mr Nice" always.. We should impose some punitive measures on Bangladesh.. the least that I expect is that we should cut off their trade with India.. They should get hurt... and realize that it does not pay to get into trouble with us..

Views:Our reaction has been to say the least very strange and sad. More so surprising is the fact that eminent personalities say it has been admirable. To let 16 soldiers not only be killed but tortured and killed is an act of utmost provocation but what does the Govt do; Registers it's protests with the Bangladesh Ambassador! BDR must be punished, if not by their govt by us atleast. If this incident is allowed to end without any reaction the armed forces will get a clear signal that the Govt is not concerned about their welfare and well-being. The Govy must take immediate counter measures!

Though I have nothing against any religion but I would never allow somebody to dictate terms to us. Its a known fact now that Infiltration from bangladesh has changed the ground realities......They (bandgladeshis) can now decide who will be winning the elections in almost 30 parliament seats as well as 100(around) assembly seats. Does any self respecting nation allow this? The problem is with we Indians.....we deserve what we get. The only response to the given situation should be on atleast the following aithmetic...kill atleast 10 for every Indian killed. Ethics are preached and practised among saner elements.....not with the barbaians. Its time that we change our appoach for a change....and just explain to people ... we r not a soft state. Views:The BJP when in opposition always projected an image of being tough on defence and national security issues. However, in power they have proved to be an unmitigated disaster. This fact is proved by the failure of the Government to respond in a timely fashion to intelligence reports from Kargil. We paid for it dearly with the lives of almost a thousand of our good men. And now a tiny minion nation like Bangladesh has the audacity to capture, torture and murder 16 of our men. The BJP Government has failed on the issue national security on every front. I doubt they even have a coherent policy on this issue. They are tied up in knots with their issues of razing mosques to build more temples rather than securing our borders and sending a clear message to our adversaries. It is doubtful if they even know how to respond to national emergencies such as the hijacking of the IA plane to Khandahar. Our neighbours have now come to the conclusion that India is fair game that we will accept lousy apologies in exchange for the heinous torture and murder of our people, whether in uniform or not. It is a sad fact of life that this we have come to this stage. The sooner we get rid of these old jokers, the better for our country.

However, one would still like to believe that Bangladesh is a "friendly" power.I will take the unpopular view and take the position that the Govt has handled it very well, with the right degree of restraint. But it is a major wake up call. There is of course local adventurism, but the memories of the 1971 have all but faded for the younger generation, who have greater sympathy for Pakistan, also fuelled by subversive Islamist movements and ISI . Views:Are we really Peace-lovers or cowards? Do we lack in our abilities or a good leader-ship? It's time we give a serious thought about this. A country protected by a so called "one of the largest & reasonably sophisticated military forces in the world" simply gives in to every single country that invades into its territory, whether the invader is a mighty one or a minion. Is the government concerned about its financial needs if it were to strike the invader or is it doubtful about our armed forces capability or is it worried about its allies & opposition's reactions to the bold attempts that need to be taken immediately to save our face in the eyes of world or BJP is just not as aggresive as it projected itself all these years. BJP's approach towards IA flight hi-jack, Pakistani intrusion in Kargil, Chinese invasion at Arunachal pradesh and now Bangladeshi intrusion. Our response to all these tells the whole world how pathetic we are? No body will agree that we want to maintain peace in this region. Let's stop this bullshit. Before anyone else starts using our land for their military practices we must send a warning to the world on how harsh we we'd be.

Views:While we agree that Bangladesh is the lesser of the devils than East Pakistan but how dare they do this heinous crime. India is a Giant but unfortunately a Sleeping Giant. There is a lot to learn from Israel, if one Israeli is shot dead, they respond by perishing at least a 1000 in the enemy camp. There is no harm in doing our duty. Ahimsa would be the most misunderstood term in our Thesaurus.

Views:i feel ashamed to even write this, thanks to our beloved leaders. We go begging around the world trying to gain support for a permanent seat in the security council. the world will be laughing their gut out, seeing we cant handle our own security leave alone the worlds. If the decision makers have any iota worldly knowledge let them look at China and Israel. we talk of Israel being in the same situation as us. well then learn some self-respct from them damn it. its high time. 1 israeli soldiers gets killed and there is an air strike on the Syrian positions. China stand up to the lone superpower on air space violations, even if fictious. how can we aspire to call ourselves a power in any region. Practical approach can go to the dogs when indian prestige is at stake. a few economic sanctions dont hurt as much as being disgraced in front of the world community by a miserable country like bangladesh.if u give the bangladeshi govt. a clean chit and say that it was initiated by local area commanders, then beat them black and blue so that their clout does not snowball into another dictatorship in our neighbourhood. When Mother India comes into the picture mollycodlling a nation owing its existence to us can go to hell. at the end, i'll to tel the people up there its time u grow a vertebrae, balls and brain cells. And shame on u for the third time

Views:why blame the politician for the mess at indo-bangladesh border, or for that matter, the mess at Kargil. After all what's gone wrong, a few indians died here, a few indians there, why? because me and you have voted for a politician, not based upon his individual merit but because he is from a party that is good, or because he is from my caste, he is from your community etc. Then, why feel bad, isn't he doing good for his community, ultimately that's what is happening in this country, first comes the self, then the community, then the country. Which is the biggest family in this country, the Congress I? They are the fathers of corruption, since india's independent inception. Then, why blame other parties, they too have to fight the congress, don't they? After they have made the money to fight the congress, then they will come to fight against your rights as well, give them time, they are busy making money, as almost all the money, until now, is with the Congress(I). If we fellow indians, have grey cells, between our ears, we woudln't vote for congress, nor the BJP, nor the Janata dal or for that matter the Trinamol Congress. We indians, i and you would vote for an individual with a moral right to rule the country and not us.

Views:What a disgust !I am ashamed of our leaders and their whole reaction to B'desh intrusion and subsequent butchery of our soldiers. What good is our army if we have no self pride and no value for our soldier's life. do we have a real spineless leadership or public views don't matter. ITS TIME WE SET SOME EXAMPLE- AN EYE FOR AN EYE !!! We can still talk about Gandhian philosophy afterwards, lets follow Patel and Bose guidelines.
