Condolence Message:I have known Dewang since 1993. Not only was he a very warm and friendly person, I was motivated personally by seeing his own passion for the software industry in india. I'm currently in London, living in an apartment opposite the Imperial College, which is where Dewang studied his Computer Graphics, in fact, Dewang reminded my wife just a week ago to "tell hemant" that that is where I studied! I have half a mind to go there and tell the college about this great loss. I've known Dewang personally as a friend, we've had quite a few lunches and dinners together with my family and friends. He was always welcome. For me, his passing away is a personal loss. What I'm upset about was the fact that he was a young 38, was in seemingly perfect health and had decades left in him. In the words of a common friend, if you burn the candle at both ends, the light shines brighter but does not last as long. Well, Dewangs light was the brightest star on the horizon and he spent his final moments doing what he loved. I dont think India can have another person like him. Its an unimaginable loss. He is irreplaceable as a friend as as a leader in the Indian IT Industry.
