Condolence Message:I am really - really shocked at his sudden and untimely death. Its one of the most devastating piece of news, I have ever recieved in recent times. As a software professional, I know what all he did for the IT industry, during his tenure as secretary of NASSCOM. I feel that we in IT industry, have been robbed of a guardian angel. He lended a deep admirance and respect to that word - lobbyist. He was among the visionaries who wanted to see India excelling in IT field, and the place where India stands today in this sector, particularly software field, can be wholly be attributed to his relentless endeavours. Although I had never known him personally, but I use to keep track of his efforts through news and other articles, I feel its a personal loss for me. I always deeply admired him, and he was amongst those whose efforts borne fruit in making India an IT superpower. I express my deepest sympathies to his family, and may his soul rest in peace.

Just as we as a nation bounced back and did incredibly well, we and especially the younger generation should stand tall and work ever harder to fullfill the goals of the Father of the IT wave in India.
