Vajpayee resumes work
from residence: PTI

A day after returning from Bombay, where he underwent a knee-joint surgery, Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee Monday resumed work in the capital, going through files at his official residence.

"The prime minsiter is attending to file work and also taking telephone calls," official sources said.

They said he would continue to function from his Seven Race Course Road residence for a few more days.

Vajpayee, who was operated on his left knee on October 10, had been attending to file work even from his hospital room during his recuperation.
