Message: It is not surprising at all. All along the recent history the U.S. govt.has followed their version of democracy. They have scant respect for human race as such.
However It is not a setback for govt.of India. As the indian govt.has to follow the path which serves their interest. In todays world the govt.has to try to be at the side of U.S.and hope for the best out of the worst.

Message: I dont see the reason why we have to be making such a big noise about President Clinton going to Pakistan. He is comming to our country as a guest and we should treat him as guests are treated in our homes, as warmly as possible. It is in our Indian culture to treat all our guest with respect and that is what we should do. Where he goes from here is none of our business. All said & done he is leader of the most powerfull coutry in the world, both economically & militarily.
I am sure that all the people who are aganist his visit have atleast on of their relatives living in the US. We are just proving that we are the biggest hypocrates in the world.

To imagine that US president will not stop at Islamabad is immature.
It is commendable that Bill Clinton is making this visit to countries which are of high risk to his life.
One must not forget that !

Message: The honeymoon of indo us relation has just begun thanks to Jaswant singh and vajpayee s foresightand realisation of mutual need for the other
guy due to changed post cold war scene, and overdependence
on china
i have been in usa for the last 2 years and what other countries like China has gained is a loss to india
i am convinced that quality of the indian made goods is far better and superior may be it suffers from the organisational strength in terms of understanding the us market, consumers, styles
if one analses us market and consumers what they beleive is reasonable quality, low prices so that marketers in us get their high mark up and even after that end prices are low enough for the consumer, very large quantity orders, consistency and repetability, ability to honour commitments in general and specifically, in terms of delivery, quality, packaging,
prices,etc on a consistent basis
no company in india can boast of these including tatas, birlas, bajajs, except probably ambanis of reliance
Exactly for the same reasons
indian it guys as commodities have been successful - namely
the large quantity, reasonable prices, good mark up yet competitive, quality etc
it is for this reason a liabilty of india ie large educated work force with high unemployment is converted into an asset as against
what was a failure in engineering industry in spite of excellent capability
what is disturbing is similar thing should not happen due to complacency of burecrats
and consequently reflecting the policy measures
if one analyses the transformation of this indo us relationship it is in india hands to exploit it
so that major problem of employment generation,
and investments can be solved
in an incedible and visible way in a short spanof time
for the benifit of younger
generation

Let us hope that this visit of bill clinton will remind him of a country he should've approached a long time back.

Message:OPEN LETTER TO BILL CLINTON
Dear Sir,
NAMASTE. I do not know if you are going to read this but I sincearly hope that you do.
We welcome you to pur country as we have an indian tradition of welcoming our guests very warmly. But please behave like a guest and not a bully.
This is the oldest civilization on earth, a secular country, a flourishing democracy, a country of billion people , beware do not antagonize us and threaten us, and we will go out of our way to make this visit of yours a memorable one.
You are going to Pakistan, I personally think that you can go to Cuba or iran or any country on earth for all we care but i am totally aghast , bcoz you try to equate us with those fundamentalist, terrorist in pakistani govt that is what we object to.I am a practising muslim living in india and there has never been any discrimination against me by any body. It is the foreign media that wants sensational stories that creates that kind of an impression.Come on a billion people staying here there are frictions sometimes but if you see it in the whole context than these are a drop in the ocean. Please leave your lectures for your retirement and dont act sanctimonius with us becoz it looks like a hypocritic charade
coming from the mouth of a person who can lie under oath, to its own judiciary.Your priorities are royally screwed ( Oops Sorry did i say the S word) and need some thinking.
I also want to bring to your notice that this is not a hindu country but a secular country with all the religions on earth flourishing here and we have the second highest population of muslims on earth after indonesia, so pakistans refrain about kashmir belonging to pakistan is utterly untenebale and will destroy the pluralistic soceity of india.
We also know the history of the US who have poked their noses in the west asia peace process, and ireland and created a further mess as
