Ranga: Funeral at five Wednesday evening

The mortal remains of Union Power Minister p R Kumaramangalam will be cremated at the Nigambodh Ghat electric crematorium at 1700 hours (IST) on Wednesday.

The body of the 48-year-old minister has been kept at his official 30, Aurangzeb Road, residence for people to pay homage.

The departed leader is expected to be given a state funeral.

Flags are flying at half-mast on all government buildings as a mark of respect for the departed soul.

Kumaramangalam died at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences early Wednesday morning.
