Major reshuffle in J&K administration
The Jammu and Kashmir Government ordered a major reshuffle in the administration on Friday evening, involving the transfer and postings of 44 senior officials, including over a dozen bureaucrats of the Indian Administrative Service cadre.
The decision to go in for a major reshuffle was taken by the state cabinet, which met in Srinagar on Friday, with Chief Minister Farooq Abdullah in the chair.
