The terrorists are terrorised, claims Advani
Union Home Minister Lal Kishenchand Advani said on Wednesday that the government would continue its efforts to restore peace in Jammu and Kashmir and stand by its decision to hold talks with the Hizbul Mujahideen.
Condemning the massacre at the Pahalgam base camp in Jammu & Kashmir on Tuesday night, Advani said the move to hold talks with the Hizb had "terrorised" some of the extremist groups.
"The terrorists are now themselves terrorised as they are frightened at the prospect of peace returning to Jammu & Kashmir," he said.
The home minister said security forces would continue to provide protection to the civilians and retaliate whenever required.
