No 'compromise' in WB: Sonia

Congress president Sonia Gandhi has told her party leaders from West Bengal that she was not against aligning with the Trinamul Congress, provided it does not ''compromise with the party's ideology'' and ''would not affect their fight against communal forces''.

Sources said Sonia had indicated this at a meeting with West Bengal Congress unit leaders including rebels Somen Mitra and A B A Ghani Khan Chowdhury.
