12 massacred in J&K

Mukhtar Ahmad in Srinagar

Unidentified militants shot dead 12 people in Sandooachbal village in the south Kashmir district of Anantnag late last night.

The victims were Bihari labourers working in a local brick-kiln.

Details were awaited.

Seventeen people were massacred yesterday in Poonch district.
