India expels Pak embassy member

India has sought the withdrawal of Dil Fayyaz, a staff member of the Pakistan high commission in New Delhi, by July 5 as he was found indulging in activities incompatible with his official status.

This was conveyed to Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner Akbar Zeb when he was summoned to the foreign office yesterday.

Fayyaz reportedly disappeared at the weekend.

Sources said Fayyaz had been found at the Hindon Air Force base near Ghaziabad by the IAF officials with incriminating documents.
