Vajpayee gives Joshi a earful

E-Mail this report to a friend

Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee tonight reportedly called up Maharashtra Chief Minister Manohar Joshi and expressed grave displeasure over the attack on the head office of the Board of Control for Cricket in India in Bombay today.

The attack occurred after the Pakistan government cleared its team's tour of India despite threats from the Shiv Sena to disrupt the series.

Joshi refused to comment on the vandalism in the city.
