Flight 814 smells like sick bay

Special Correspondent

The hijacked Indian Airlines plane is said to be smelling like a sick bay, and the conditions inside seem to be deteriorating fast.

Quoting Taliban civil aviation authority spokesman Mohammed Khiber, CNN reports that "inside the air is very bad and it smells like people have been sick".

The Taliban has said the aircraft should leave its territory immediately, but the hijackers are unwilling to do so.

Though the plane has been refuelled, it is no position to take off due to a technical snag, sources say.
