More rains over Tamil Nadu

Heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala during the next 48 hours.

Rain or thundershowers are likely at most places in coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala, at many places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal and south interior Karnataka and Lakshadweep, and at isolated places in South Konkan, Goa and north interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over the rest of the country.

Rain or thundershowers occurred at a few places in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Konkan, Goa, coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, coastal and north interior Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshwadeep, and at isolated places in Orissa and Rayalseema.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over the rest of the country.

Day temperatures were appreciably above normal in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, east Madhya Pradesh and north Konkan, and in parts of Punjab, Saurashtra and Kutch.

They were above normal in Assam, Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, east Uttar Pradesh, south-east Rajasthan, central west Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, and in parts of coastal Andhra Pradesh, south coastal Tamil Nadu and coastal and south interior Karnataka.

They were appreciably below normal in north coastal Tamil Nadu and below normal in parts of Haryana.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, Orissa, west Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh from where data were sparse.

Night temperatures were below normal in parts of Bihar, Jammu and Kashmir and Gujarat.

They were appreciably above normal in west Madhya Pradesh and Vidarbha, and in parts of Punjab, southwest Rajasthan and Marathwada.

They were above normal in Tripura, coastal Orissa, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Rayalseema and south interior Karnataka, and in parts of central Maharashtra and Telengana.

They were normal over the rest of the country outside Arunachal Pradesh and west Uttar Pradesh from where data were sparse.
