Delhi Chief Minister Sushma Swaraj today announced her candidature for the assembly election from one of the 10 constituencies in south Delhi.

The constituency will be decided by the Bharatiya Janata Party's central election committee.

Swaraj also revealed that the Shiromani Akali Dal would contest four seats in Delhi under the BJP's symbol.

The two parties have identified three constituencies where the Akalis would field their candidates and talks on the fourth are in progress, she said.

As for sharing seats with the Haryana Lok Dal headed by Om Prakash Chautala, Swaraj said the matter has been left to Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
