Why did Hegde go to Delhi, asks Patel

Karnataka Chief Minister J H Patel has refused to comment on former minister R V Deshpande's invitation to cross over to Union Commerce Minister Ramakrishna Hegde's party, the Lok Shakti.

When mediapersons sought his reaction, he said he would convey his reactions directly to Hegde.

Asked about Hegde's remarks that he would return to state politics if the people, Lok Shakti and Bharatiya Janata Party desired so, Patel asked: Why did he choose to go to Delhi in the first place?
