No confrontation with China, says MEA

India on Thursday said it did not seek any confrontation with China, and asserted that its recent nuclear tests did not pose any threat to any country.

Asked to comment on China's apprehensions that India's nuclear tests were aimed at it, an external affairs ministry spokesman said New Delhi wanted a relationship with China in which "both sides are responsive to each other's concerns".
