Congress leaders hold consultations with Sonia on campaign schedule

Senior Congress leaders have held consultations with Sonia Gandhi on various issues relating to the forthcoming election, including her campaign programme.

Party vice-president Jitendra Prasada, general secretary Oscar Fernandes, Congress Working Committee members Dr Manmohan Singh and Ghulam Nabi Azad took part in the consultations. Senior Congress leader K Karunakaran also met Sonia and held discussions on the party's poll strategy.

The party leadership has sought suggestions from state Congress leaders and Congress legislature party leaders on Sonia's campaign programme.
