Vishal,Trisha come together for Samaran

After making Osthe, the Tamil remake of Dabbang, Balaji Real Media Pvt Ltd has started their next film, Samaran, directed by Thiru. 

Vishal plays the lead and for the first time Trisha is paired opposite him. Prakashraj plays an important role. The last time Thiru and Vishal joined hands was in Theeradha Vilayattu Pillai in 2010, which was a success.

For the first time, Manoj Bajpayee is acting in a Tamil film in a negative role. Joining him is J D Chakravarthy.

The filmmakers say that Samaran (Warrior), an action film,is about an unexpected event that happens in the life of a common man and what he does to tackle the obstacles.

 The first schedule of 15 days was in Ooty and Chalakudy and the second one in Thailand. The last schedule of action sequences will be shot in many famous locations in Europe.

Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director of the movie and Richard M Nathan,who did scintillating work in Angadi Theru,is the cinematographer. Writer S Ramakrishnan pens the dialogues.

This action thriller is slated to release in the summer of 2012.
