Manoj Manchu begins this year with Mr Nookayya directed by Ani Kaneganti. It also stars Kriti Kharbanda and Sana Khan.

D S Rao has produced this film on a big budget. After much deliberation, Mr Nookayya (which was initially titled Mr Nokia) is finally releasing on Thursday, March 8 in 400 theatres.

While the director himself has penned the story and screenplay, the Parachuri brothers have written the dialogues.

The film is a love story with a tagline that goes, 'No caption, only action'.

The film was shot in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam and Bangkok. Yuvan Shankar Raja is the music director and he has used some of his Tamil tunes for the songs in this film. Rajasekhar is the cinematographer and Gautham Raju edits the film.
