The Kannada film Snehitaru (friends) is about four friends played by Vijay Raghavendra, Srujan Lokesh, Ravishankar and Tarun Chandra. Master Snehith plays a spoilt child in the movie.

The film also stars Pranitha paired opposite Darshan who is making a guest appearance in the movie. Nikitha Thukral has appeared in a special dance number.

'The film is a total family entertainer'

Ramnarayan, who has written dialogues for more than 40 films and penned more than 300 songs in Kannada, is making his bow as director.

He says, "The film is a total family entertainer with a lot of fun elements. As many would expect, the story does not revolve around the girl. Each guy has a unique characteristic. If one is speech impaired, another one is a dumb wit (sic). The third one is a funny conspirator and the fourth one plays a forgetful Joe."

'There is a hidden sentiment that forms the lifeline of the movie'

Director Ramnarayan says the film has a message but audiences can expect a lot of masala.

"At the heart of all the fun and frolic lies a hidden sentiment that forms the lifeline of the movie," he says.

The director has drawn on a good supporting cast--Sadhu Kokila, Bullet Prakash, Mimicry Dayanand, Biradaar, Gururaj Hoskote, Sihikahi Chandru, Chidanand, V Manohar and Tennis Krishna, among others.

Each of them has a distinctive role in the movie, the director says.

The music is by V Harikrishna. M R Seenu is the cinematographer. Ganesh makes his debut as an editor.
