What Salman, Mallika should do instead

If one stinks at fashion, the other talks too much. Get the drift?

Despite their dream idol status, celebrities are anything but perfect. So here's some tongue-in-cheek free advice for Bollywood's hot 'n' haughty A-listers to straighten up their act.

Sonam Kapoor

Our Advice: More movies, less fashion

Yo Sonam, there's more to acting than sporting vintage Chanels and fancy Guccis.
The Kapoor scion's ridiculous obsession with fashion is doing her more harm than good.

For while she's topping all the best-dressed polls, her movies are nothing to rave about. Even co-star Imran Khan couldn't help but quip, 'More movies, less magazine covers' on Koffee With Karan.

Kareena Kapoor

Our Advice: Can't get enough of you, Saifoo!

We know Saif Ali Khan and you are in a relationship. We know you love him to bits. But for god's sake Bebo, stop gushing about your man in every single interview.

It's just too much information. And it's borrrrrrrring. Yes, even for the paparazzi.

Priyanka Chopra

Our Advice: Mini meals!

No one's contesting the impact of the Dostana babe's sizzling hot stems but surely there's more to a girl than a wardrobe full of minis in every size, shape and colour.

Change it up, Piggy. And while you're at it, how about snipping off those puffed up tresses for something more sleek, huh?

Deepika Padukone

Our Advice: Take a break, Dee!

Let's see... Karthik Calling Karthik, Housefull, Lafangey Parindey, Break Ke Baad and Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey.

A year full of non-stop Deepika Padukone be it on celluloid, covers, conversations, commercials, Cannes, you name it.

That's like a serious Deepika overkill, dude! How about giving yourself a not-so-chhota break, girl?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan

Our Advice: ODing on M&Ms

Dear Ash, although it's true that you look smashing in almost anything, we'd be more than happy if you'd get rid of those countless kitschy and voluminous Manish Malhotra-designed anarkalis.

You're much too lovely to hide yourself in all that parachute cloth.

Akshay Kumar

Our Advice: Recycling Akki!

Akshay Kumar is a neat actor. Even inthe stupidest of movies, he'll succeed in making us laugh.

But how many times and in how many different ways is he going to recycle his impeccable skills as a comic post Hera Pheri's Raju?

It's high time he did something out of the ordinary. Surprise your audience, AK.  And in dimensions other than 8x10, please.

Kangna Ranaut

Our Advice: Oh Mac God!

The Gangster star is pretty, talented and an edgy fashionista.

What's not cool, however, is her weakness for excessive make-up. Unless Kangna's channeling Johnny Depp from all those Tim Burton movies, there's no reason why the lady should wear these many layers of make-up.

Mallika Sherawat

Our Advice: Hissss more, tweet less

As far as hogging limelight goes, Ms Sherawat is up there.

Whether it's due to her naughty tweets, dishy dance moves or eye-popping wardrobe, this hottie is a PRO at grabbing attention.

Then again, what's her real career? Oh yes, acting. How about stretching a little more than that slithering skin in non-starters like Hissss?

Salman Khan

Our Advice: Kamaal karte ho, Sallu!

He's a rather chilled out host for a super wild reality show like Bigg Boss 4. Even the likes of Dolly Bindra go all 'Bhai-Bhai' on him.

The question then arises: is it necessary for Bollywood's self-styled superstar to plug his blockbuster Dabangg during each and every episode?

Everybody is already aware of Chulbul Pandey's startling popularity, there's no need for him to emphasise on it week after week.

Aamir Khan

Our Advice: To err is un-Aamir!

It's insane how Aamir Khan is so good at every darn thing. Whether he's acting, directing, producing, marketing or transforming into unrecognisable avatars for television commercials, the man's simply aces.

So for once, we'd like him to make a mistake. Drop the perfectionist tag, will ya? Though with his luck, it won't be shocking if a faux pas becomes a fad.
