Anil Kapoor in New York for 24 premiere

Anil Kapoor attends a premiere of the Fox network series 24 in New York on Thursday.

After playing a nasty television host in the Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire, the actor will be seen fighting terrorists in the hit US TV show.

The 50-year-old actor plays the role of an Indian counter-terrorist cop, who teams up with Kiefer Sutherland's Jack Bauer to to take on terrorists.

The camaraderie between the two veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra at the 16th Lions' Gold Awards organised by the Lions Club, Mumbai on Thursday take us back to the days of Sholay.

Amitabh was one of the winners of the evening.

The hilarious Chattur from 3 Idiots -- Omi Vaidya -- has become a big winner at award shows this year. He bagged an award at the Lions' Gold Awards ceremony. The other winners were Govinda and Raju Srivastav.

Amitabh Bachchan's forthcoming film Teen Patti was unveiled at a multiplex in Versova, suburban Mumbai. The actor will play a Mathematics professor.

The rest of the cast was also present -- R Madhavan and newcomers Shraddha Kapoor, Siddharth Kher, Dhruv Ganesh and Vaibhav Talwar. Shraddha, for those who don't know is Shakti Kapoor's daughter.

Teen Patti director Leena Yadav and producer Ambika Hinduja were also present. The film will release on February 26.
