It's the 1920s and a moody, bossy rancher doesn't take too kindly to his brother marrying a widow, ensuing in unnerving days for the poor woman and her son in Jane Campion's masterful adaptation of Thomas Savage's novel.

Benedict Cumberbatch's simmering portrayal of a toxic persona and Kirsten Dunst's woman on the verge of a mental breakdown are top runners for the upcoming awards season. And with good reason too.

Inside Edge's dirty politics and power play against the backdrop of cricket returns for a tauter third season with a little more of the same.

Bob Biswas
Where to watch? Zee5

Sooryavanshi

Rohit Shetty's bombastic super cop masala universe, where Akshay Kumar hogs nearly every frame leaving crumbs for Singham and Simmba, is not everybody's cup of tea. For those of you interested in watching the man highlight his nationalism for the nth time, the movie is streaming on Netflix.
