Here's giving these actors a standing ovation!

Did you know that, despite a long and hugely successful career, Amitabh Bachchan has only *just* joined the Rs 100 crore club? And that too, with a film that, ironically, is not a hit?

There are nine other entrants into Bollywood's elite club that is home to stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone and many more.

Joginder Tuteja lists the new lot:

Shahid Kapoor, Padmaavat
Box office collection: Rs 302.15 crore

It took Shahid, who has been the industry for a decade and a half, quite a while to break into this elite club.

But he did it with style, as he scored a triple century with Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.

Amitabh Bachchan, Thugs Of Hindostan
Box office collection: Rs 150 crore (expected lifetime collection)

The biggest star in three generations, Amitabh Bachchan has delivered several blockbusters over the decades.

Ghajini introduced Bollywood to the Rs 100 crore club in 2008 but Big B had to wait a while to score that century.

He does it with Thugs Of Hindostan, in which he stars with Aamir Khan, who was the first entrant into the Rs 100 crore club.

Tiger Shroff, Baaghi 2
Box office collection: Rs 166 crore

A young entrant who has largely scored with his action drama thrillers, Tiger Shroff surprised everyone when his Baaghi 2 took a phenomenal opening of Rs 25.10 crore.

What was even more encouraging was the fact that the film continued to gain momentum with every passing day.

The result: Baaghi 2 didn't just cross the Rs 100 crore mark, it went further to earn Rs 150 crore.

Rajkummar Rao, Stree
Box office collection: Rs 130 crore

For an actor who has been consistent when it comes to art films, Rajkummar Rao has been making a lot of noise in the commercial cinema arena too, courtesy Bareilly Ki Barfi and Newton.

He went on to deliver a bonafide blockbuster with Stree, which has done triple the expected business.

Ayushmann Khurrana, Badhaai Ho
Box office collection: Rs 125 crore (expected lifetime collection)

Another actor who has been consistent at the box office with his amazing variety of scripts is Ayushmann Khurranna.

After delivering a hat-trick of successes (Bareilly Ki Barfi, Shubh Mangal Savdhan, Andhadhun), it was inevitable that he got his coveted entry into the Rs 100 crore club.

That happened with Badhaai Ho and celebrations haven't stopped ever since.

Kartik Aaryan, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
Box office collection: Rs 109 crore

From Pyaar Ka Punchnama to Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, it has been an eventful journey for Kartik Aaryan.

Not many are aware that he was also the leading man in Subhash Ghai's Kaanchi.

While that film was a disaster and the recent comedy Guest Iin London didn't appeal to the box office either, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety made him a star worth reckoning.

Sunny Singh, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
Box office collection: Rs 109 crore

Seen earlier in the hit Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2, Sunny Singh returned with the successful team of director Luv Ranjan and leading man Kartik Aryan with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Playing the central role of Titu around whom the story revolves, his confident performance brought in the laughs as well as the tears.

Nushrat Bharucha, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety
Box office collection: Rs 109 crore

Nushrat Bharucha made a good impression with her debut in Love Sex aud Dhokha, opposite Rajkummar Rao.

The film was a success, as were the Pyaar Ka Punchnama movies.

But Nushrat found her first big hit with Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety, where she plays a bewitching leading lady.

Mouni Roy,
Gold
Box office collection: Rs 105 crore

A popular face in the world of television, Mouni made an entry in Bollywood with the big budget sports drama, Gold.

It revolved around Akshay Kumar, but Mouni made sure she was noticed.

Even though the film did not cover the kind of distance it was expected to, Mouni did get to enter the Rs 100 crore club.
