Deepika Padukone will act with husband Ranveer Singh for the first time since their marriage last year.
She has joined the cast of '83.
While Ranveer plays Kapil Dev -- who led India to a stunning World Cup victory in 1983 after defeating the favourites, West Indies -- Deepika will play his wife, Romi Dev nee Bhatia.

The shooting is going on in Glasgow. 'Good times in Glasgow!' Ranveer wrote.
This will be the duo's fourth collaboration after last year's Padmaavat.
'83 will release on April 10, 2020.
