PeeCee's making us proud, once again!

Priyanka Chopra has been putting her fame to good use, raising awareness about various social causes.

Her work in this area will be lauded by the annual Variety Power of Women luncheon, which honours Hollywood's most philanthropic women, whose efforts have made a significant impact in their chosen charities and causes.

The event will be held on October 13 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons.

PeeCee, who is UNICEF's Global Citizens Goodwill Ambassador, has been working for their cause extensively.

The event will also honour Kelly Clarkson (QX Super School), Patty Jenkins (Anti-Recidivism Coalition), Michelle Pfeiffer (Environmental Working Group) and Octavia Spencer (City Year), reports Variety.

All the honourees will be featured on the covers of the October 10 issue of the magazine.

Recently, the Baywatch actress hosted the Global Citizen Festival in New York, where she looked stunning in a red floral dress that she had matched with thigh-high boots.

The 35-year-old actress was joined by celebrities like Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o, pop sensation Demi Lovato, actresses Freida Pinto and Michelle Monaghan, and Mayor Bill de Blasio.

On the work front, the Quantico star will soon commence shooting for the show's third season.

PeeCee also has two Hollywood projects in her kitty -- Isn't It Romantic? and A Kid Like Jake.
