Akkineni fans may have been disappointed that the launch was sans fanfare. Akhil’s popularity is increasing. Recently, he was mobbed by girls at a college where he was present for an event.

There is no word yet about who will be Akhil’s leading lady. The names of Alia Bhatt and Sridevi’s daughter, Raashi Khanna, are doing the rounds.

The film is scripted by Veligonda Srinivas; Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are the dialogue writers.

Akhil is a good cricketer and has been an integral part of CCL the Celebrity Cricket League and other celebrity cricket matches.

Much is expected of Akhil, the latest entrant to filmdom from the illustrious Akkineni family after ANR, Nagarjuna, Sumanth, Sushanth, and Naga Chaitanya.
