Bollywood has started celebrating Diwali by partying hard

Television stars are celebrating too.

TV stars tell us how celebrate the festival of lights.

Shruti Seth

This Diwali is quite special for me, as it's the first one with my one-year-old daughter at our new home.

I love showering gifts on family and friends.

I have been celebrating firecracker-free Diwali for almost a decade now and would want my kids to follow it. I feel we must make a conscious effort to avoid air and noise pollution.

Adaa Khan

I will be shooting on Diwali but will make it a point to meet my family and friends.

I will also go shopping, as I haven’t zeroed down on my Diwali attire yet. I will buy a lot of gifts for my friends and family.

I am not in favour of firecrackers and noise pollution. I will celebrate a sound-free Diwali and urge everyone to celebrate cracker-free Diwali.

Mouni Roy

I will be working on Diwali but will try to wind up early for the Diwali puja at home.

Diwali is incomplete without sweets and gifts and I plan to go shopping before I meet my friends.

As a child, I used to be scared of firecrackers and would keep away. Even this year, I will celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali and not burst crackers.

Krushna Abhishek

I absolutely love this festival. Like every year, I will spend time with my family playing cards and performing Lakshmi Puja.

I will make sure that I take time out from the shooting and go shopping for my family.

I will be celebrating a firecracker-free Diwali.

Hiten Tejwani

I will celebrate Diwali with my family and friends and take them out for dinner.

I have handpicked special gifts for them, and plan to give them a surprise.

I will celebrate a firecracker-free Diwali and want everyone to do the same.
