After being a finalist on Khatron Ke Khiladi, Hina Khan moved on to her next reality show, Bigg Boss, in its 11 season.

Before she stepped into the house, and cut off all communication from the rest of the world, the actress spoke to Rediff.com's Rajul Hegde about her mixed emotions.

"There is a lot of nervousness, excitement and anxiety," Hina says. "There are so many mixed emotions when you are going to be away from family and loved ones."

The actress claims she does not have a game plan inside the house.

"You will be under surveillance 24/7. Do you think any strategy can work? I am not going inside the house to earn fame. I am going there to present my fans the real me," she insists.

Hina admits that she had never imagined that she would be a part of the controversial reality show.

"I have always said that I cannot do a show like Bigg Boss because it’s not my cup of tea. I am a very short tempered girl," she says.

She credits Khatron Ke Khiladi for the change in her decision.

"If Khatron hadn't happened, I wouldn't have known how strong I was. KKK has helped me discover a new side to myself. It is only because of my mental strength that I managed to come this far," she says.

Hina claims she can cook to survive, as well as do the daily chores in the house.

"Even in Khatron, I used to wash my own clothes. I think it won’t be very difficult for me, apart from the kind of people I will live with. That is the only challenge I will face," she feels.

"I am not someone who will take things from people for no fault of mine. I will make it a point to voice my opinions. But if I am at fault, I will also apologise," she says.

Hina hasn't done any special shopping for the show but a designer has sent clothes for her.

Is she a fan of Bigg Boss?

"Yes," pat comes the reply. "Bigg Boss is my favourite show. I wait the whole year to watch the show. I am a big fan of Salman."
