Abhishek Bachchan completes 15 years in Bollywood

JP Dutta's Refugee, which marked the acting debuts of Abhishek Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor, completed 15 years on June 30.

Abhishek Bachchan ‏took to Twitter to thank his team and wrote: ‘Today I complete 15yrs in the film industry. Thank you all for the love and support. You guys are my inspiration and reason. Refugee my 1st film released on this day in 2000.'

‘Thank you JP sahab, @bindasbhidu @AnupamPkher Suneil anna and the rest of the cast and crew. I would not be here if it wasn’t for all of you. Kareena (bebo) , thank you. My first ever co-star, friend and rabble rouser in the industry. You will always be a favourite,’ he added.


Kriti Sanon shoots with Varun Dhawan in Dilwale

Heropanti actress Kriti Sanon has started shooting for her upcoming film Diwale in Bulgaria.

She shared a picture from the sets, above, and tweeted: ‘Hav never shot the way i did today!! Hectic but crazy fun! Madness wid @avigowariker and Rahul Nanda on set! :))’ 

Directed by Rohit Shetty, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Varun Dhawan.


Remo D'Souza ‏meets Hollywood actor Scott Adkins

Choreographer Remo D’Souza, who is currently in Bulgaria for Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, recently bumped into The Expendables 2 actor Scott Adkins.

He shared a picture, above, and wrote: ‘Met one of my fav action hero:)))) hope to get him in India. :)))). #scot Atkins #undisputed 4.’

Scott is currently shooting for Hollywood film Undisputed IV in Bulgaria.


Welcome Back to release to September 4


The release date for Anees Bazmee’s next film Welcome Back has been confirmed. 

Anil Kapoor shared a picture, above, and wrote: ‘We're all set to tickle your funny bones on the 4th of Sept. Get set for hilarity with #WelcomeBack.’ 

The film, which is a sequel to 2007 comedy Welcome, will also star John Abraham, Nana Patekar, Paresh Rawal and Shruti Haasan.
