The latest updates from the Tamil film industry.

Catherine Tresa

Arya’s films seem to have made little noise at the box office in the last two years.

Neither Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga nor Inji Iduppazhagi or Bangalore Naatkal -- a remake of the Malayalam super hit Bangalore Days -- made much impact.

The latest we hear is that the actor has teamed up with Catherine Tresa of Madras fame for his next project titled Kadamban

The film will be produced by the prestigious Super Good Films banner and will be directed by Raghavan, who had previously directed the comedy, Manjapai.

Arya will be seen as a tribal while Catherine will play a wildlife photographer. The film will be extensively shot in the forests of Kodaikanal and Kerala.

Yuvan Shankar Raja has been roped in to compose the music.
