Anjali turns singer for her film Chitrangada

Actors are fast entering the world of playback singing. Pawan Kalyan, Siddharth, NTR Jr, Nara Rohit, Lakshmi Manchu and a few others have already showed off their vocal skills.

Now, Anjali is the latest entrant in this arena. She has recorded a song for her film Chitrangada in Tamil as well as Telugu.

The music is composed by Selvaganeshan and Swaminathan.

This bilingual thriller is directed by Ashok, whose claim to fame is Pilla Jamindar, starring Nani in the central role.

Ashok has also written the script and dialogues for this film, which is largely shot in the US.

Music directors SS Thaman and Mickey J Meyer have taken their friendship to the next level.

Thaman has sang a song in Okka Ammayi Thappa for which Mickey Meyer has scored the music.

The film stars Sundeep Kishan.

Tanikella Bharani to reprise Annu Kapoor’s role in Vicky Donor remake

Vicky Donor is being remade in Telugu with Sumanth.

Senior actor Tanikella Bharani will be essaying the role played by Annu Kapoor in the original which fetched him the National Award.

Pallavi Subash is the female lead.

The film is produced by Sumanth himself and directed by debutant Mallik Ram.
