'I don't keep updated with the latest technological developments but even then things have worked for me'

Why don't you try experimenting with newer subjects and different genre of films?

I am mainly focusing on human emotions and the deep feelings inside their hearts which is generally the same for every Malayali. I can't change much as I am deeply rooted to all that I have. I don't go out much and my lifestyle has been almost the same over these years. I don't keep updated with the latest technological developments but even then things have worked for me.

If I decide that I am comfortable with the knowledge level that I have, then what is the problem? I believe that it's our dreams, imaginations and thoughts that decide things for us.

We have been complaining that Malayalam movies are moving away from the audiences. I think the main reason for it is that the viewers are given things which are in no way related to their lives. The filmmakers make the frames really colourful assuming that the viewers will like it. It fails to connect with the audience often. I am sure most of us haven't even seen a gun in our entire lives. Then how can we stand the escapades with it beyond a point? No wonder, people easily relate to clean entertainers like Veruthe Oru Bharya.
