'I feel good after a year or so in Malayalam'

How do you feel to be back in Malayalam after a while, with Lollipop?

Obviously, I feel good after a year or so in Malayalam. We have a great team in Lollipop and I play this character named Rosebella, a normal college going girl. She is in love with Franco, the character played by Prithviraj.

Are you happy with the way your career is going right now?

Yes, though I have never planned things on my own. Of course, I wanted things to happen well for me. I wanted to be in films as any other girl my age would. It was relatively easy to find a place in films. I got accepted in my first film itself. In fact, I think I have struggled more after becoming part of the industry.

Nammal brought me recognition but I rarely got solo heroine roles though I did have some really good roles in films like Naran and Daivanamathil. I was not that desperate to play the heroine, but I was looking forward to great roles. When I was offered some good roles in Tamil, I decided to accept them and luckily for me things have been good ever since.
