Sanjay Dutt has announced that he is keen to contest elections. He claimed that there was enough room for him and his sister, Priya Dutt, who is a Congress MP from Mumbai North-West, the seat held by their illustrious father, Sunil Dutt.

"We will contest elections from different constituencies," Dutt Jr has said. The actor reasoned that he wanted to carry forward his late father's social work by joining politics.
