Sure, the man is terrified of cockroaches. But when it comes to trying out new things, Farhan is more than willing.

He's made a compelling short film about AIDS called Positive starring Shabana Azmi, Boman Irani and new find Arjun Mathur.

Besides being a director and actor, Farhan jointly wrote the English lyrics of Gurinder Chadha's Bride and Prejudice with Zoya. He also loves to write poems, especially when hit by the blues.

A groovy dancer himself, Farhan was one of the judges, along side Malaika Arora and Saroj Khan, for the first season of celebrity dance-based reality show, Nach Baliye.

Meanwhile, Farhan and childhood buddy, Ritesh Sidhwani produced the ensemble comic drama, Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd, directed by assistant, Reema Kagti.

That's not all. He can sing! Farhan, who, by the way, is quite adept at playing the guitar, has recorded songs for his forthcoming flick, Rock On.
