Sanjay Gupta's Zinda enjoys the not-so-nice distinction of being a scene by scene rip off of Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook's terrific Oldboy.

What's different? Well, Zinda is entirely based in Thailand and not Seoul. Instead of the usual eye-candy, Zinda sticks to its dark theme by constructing a sense of threat in its visuals -- glaring skyscrapers, deserted lanes, et al.
