Sadhu Mirandaa revolves around a middleclass youth named Sivasundaram (Prasanna) and a television anchor, Priya (Kavya). The boy has set no big goals in life and does nothing in life. Priya belongs to an affluent family, which runs into a financial crisis after her father's death.
One day, during a live television show, Priya gets a call from Sivasundaram asking her to convey a message to his friend Moorthy through the programme.
Sivasundaram and Priya get to know each other better, and she learns that Sivasundaram's stepbrother Ram Mohan (Abbas) lives in the US. Priya always wanted to work there and Ram Mohan offers to take her there, if she could convince Sivasundaram to go too. Soon, some intriguing things start to unfold.
"There are some missing links which will be unveiled on screen," the director tells us. "Like, what the real connection between Moorthy and Sivasundaram is."
