Directed by Telugu veteran Tapi Chanakya, this 1967 film forms the stereotype when it comes to any discussion of doppelganger cinema. The rhyming character names are just the start, as Kumar shows off his then-supersubtle mastery of the craft. Both Ram and Shyam are delightfully different, and Kumar ensures this is a fun, quaint watch.
